USAID Scandal Leaves ANTIFA Protests on Life Support

Recent protests in Washington DC against figures like Elon Musk, President Donald Trump, and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) have seen a noticeable drop in participation.

Unlike the massive "Summer of Love" riots where thousands of violent ANTIFA members set ablaze numerous American cities in the name of social justice, these gatherings are now lacking in both fervor and numbers.

Some activists within ANTIFA have begun to voice their frustrations over diminishing paychecks and the increased demands of protest appearances.

"We used to get paid enough to make a living off this," said one masked protester, who wished to remain anonymous for obvious reasons.

The downturn in financial support stems from recent fraud allegations within USAID, unearthed by DOGE, leading to a significant reduction in the funds ANTIFA has traditionally relied upon for organizing protests.

"We're in a tight spot. The money just isn't flowing like before," explained another ANTIFA member.

Discussions within the group have now turned to alternative fundraising methods, including bake sales or even considering full-time employment.

The group, which has long championed the cause of democracy, now faces the irony of their situation. "How can we save democracy if we can't even afford to burn down a building?" questioned a senior ANTIFA organizer, highlighting the group's dire financial straits.

In an effort to boost their numbers, ANTIFA has initiated a recruitment drive. They are offering a starting pay of $69 per protest, with an expectation that participants will commit to at least 10 hours per event.

"It's not just about ideology anymore; it's about making ends meet," added the organizer.
