Deep State Breathes Easy as Bondi’s DOJ Refuses to Take Action

Washington insiders with ties to prominent political families and health officials expressed relief this week, noting that U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has shown no interest in pursuing them despite widespread expectations of accountability.

Sources close to the Obama, Bush, Clinton, and Biden families, along with former health official Anthony Fauci, described a collective sense of ease as Bondi’s tenure, now over four months, has produced no investigations into their activities.

Instead, Bondi has directed the Justice Department’s resources toward addressing antisemitism on college campuses, a move that has left these figures unscathed.

One source, speaking anonymously due to their proximity to a former president, said, “We were bracing for the worst when Bondi took over. But she’s been a total non-issue for us. We're actually really starting to like her.”

The source noted that early fears of aggressive probes into long-standing political networks have not materialized.

Bondi, appointed to lead the Justice Department with a mandate to root out corruption, has instead prioritized issues like campus protests, which critics argue align with the interests of entrenched elites.

Bondi’s focus on antisemitism investigations began earlier this year, targeting universities such as the University of California for alleged hostile environments tied to Israel-Hamas protests. The Justice Department has described these efforts as critical to upholding workplace protections under federal law.

Yet, some observers see the campaign as a distraction from more pressing concerns about systemic influence in Washington.

“It’s like she’s chasing headlines instead of the real players,” a former DOJ official remarked, requesting anonymity to avoid professional repercussions.

Another insider, linked to a prominent health policy figure, commented, “Pam’s out there fighting culture wars while we’re all just chilling. It’s honestly a gift.”

This sentiment reflects a broader perception among Washington’s elite that Bondi’s priorities have inadvertently shielded them from scrutiny. The Justice Department’s recent announcements, including lawsuits against states over unrelated issues like sports policies, have further reinforced the view that Bondi is avoiding the deeper networks of influence she was expected to confront.

The absence of action against high-profile figures and the refusal to release the real Epstein files have not gone unnoticed by the public. Social media posts on X have speculated about Bondi’s reluctance to pursue major investigations, with some users suggesting she’s been co-opted by the very system she was meant to challenge.

Others defend her, arguing that her focus on campus issues addresses real societal concerns because "Israel is our greatest ally."

For now, those at the heart of Washington’s power structure remain untouched, expressing quiet gratitude for an Attorney General whose bark has yet to match her bite.
