The Whistleblowers who have publicly expressed their support for O'Keefe noted that they were initially hesitant to speak out about the situation but ultimately decided to do so because of their admiration for O’Keefe’s commitment to journalistic integrity and honesty. They point to his work in exposing corruption and wrongdoing at companies like Google, Facebook, ESPN and Disney, CNN, Pfizer, and more.
The supporters also cite the success of Project Veritas’ controversial Jan. 2023 COVID-19 mutation research video which went viral as further proof of O’Keefe's talent for investigative journalism.
Though O'Keefe has stepped down from his position as CEO, the staff of Project Veritas has released a video expressing their commitment to carrying on with the organization’s mission in his absence.
The future for O'Keefe remains uncertain, but it's clear that he still intends to continue the work he started at Project Veritas, and that his supporters are behind him every step of the way. With this support, O'Keefe will likely, and hopefully, remain a key figure in investigative journalism for years to come.
