America's hope and history are intertwined with the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech, delivered on August 28th, 1963 during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. In this iconic address, he called for an end to racism in America and spoke of his dream that everyone would be judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin.

This was one of the core pillars of MLK's beliefs, as he argued that individuals should be judged by their character and not the color of their skin. He did not advocate for any sort of racial segregation and instead encouraged all people to come together in a unified way, regardless of race or skin tone.
This is in direct contrast to the woke ideology that focuses on emphasizing racial differences and attempting to segregate people without taking into account their individual character. By promoting the idea of a colorblind society, MLK was rejecting racism, prejudice, and discrimination, and calling for all people to come together as one.
