Trump's Indictment is a "Threat to Democracy," says Experts

On Thursday, March 30th, 2023, a New York grand jury indicted former President Donald J. Trump. This will be the first time in our history that a former President and candidate for the White House will face criminal charges. Many seem to think this is the end of Trump’s legacy, while many argue it’s only the beginning.

New York County District Attorney Alvin Bragg is not only the first black person to be elected to the role, but he is also the first DA in American history to successfully indict a leading candidate for the Presidency. It may come as no surprise that Bragg is registered with the Democrat Party and may be interested in preventing Biden from becoming a one-term President.

United States presidents have a long history of allegations against them ranging from unethical to illegal. Former President Bill Clinton was sued by Paula Jones in the 1990s for luring her to his hotel room while Governor of Arkansas, exposing his genitals, and asking her to “kiss it” while fondling himself. President Biden was accused by a woman named Tara Reade of forcing her against the wall and forcing his fingers into her vagina. Instead of a years-long investigation, the media attacked every aspect of Reade’s life.

Presidents are not above the law. They should be held accountable when they issue drone strikes that kill American civilians, invade countries on false pretenses, launder money overseas, sell out our sovereignty to appease global interests, violate our constitutional rights, work directly with private companies to censor American citizens, etc.

However, President Trump isn’t being accused of any of these, is he? Instead, the witch hunt that has persisted for eight years has resulted in an indictment over hush money allegedly paid to a sex worker that signed and violated a nondisclosure agreement. I admit, I don’t completely understand what President Trump is being accused of, but it doesn’t sound nearly as bad as the aforementioned crimes.

I agree with the school of thought that this is only the beginning of Trump’s legacy. His supporters will show up on Election Day, vote early and by mail, and work at every polling location in the nation to reduce the risk of potential fraud. Bragg energized the base, giving America-First Republicans the boost they needed heading into 2024. Election laws are going to start changing in red states. Voter IDs will become the new normal, electronic voting machines will become a thing of the past, and we’ll be collecting scrap money on the dropbox locations in no time.

Those who suggest that this is the end of President Trump are only hoping this to be the case. The mainstream media has spent the better part of eight years associating Trump with Hitler, neo-fascism, bigotry, and every -ism and phobia known to man. From 2016 - 2020, I even learned of a few hate groups I didn’t know existed like “ableists” and “fatphobics.”

The anti-Trump campaign worked, and people are celebrating the arrest of the current president’s political opposition like when Osama Bin Laden was killed. Tyranny is on full display, and the left is excited to see the former president in handcuffs.

Before I sign off, it’s also worth mentioning that the grand jury’s indictment comes just two days after the massacre in Nashville, Tennessee, where transgender Audrey Hale shot her way through a school and claimed the innocent lives of three 9-year-old children and three staff members. Hale’s actions are suspected to be a result of legislation passed in Tennessee that day that bans the mutilation of children’s genitals.

This is worth mentioning because there is a manifesto that has still not been released, but the mainstream media has indicated that it could be dangerous. Dangerous how? Perhaps it will reveal that the call-to-arms language used by the left to radicalize and weaponize the woke is, in fact, invoking violence. Maybe the manifesto exposes a more troubling direct federal involvement. We can’t know, unfortunately, because the elites are the only ones with the maturity needed to read why Hale killed six innocent people at a Christian school.

I cannot stress this enough – we are being lied to. President Trump’s indictment is a distraction that also serves the purpose of instilling fear in those who fight back against the current regime. Something much bigger is going on here, but they need you to focus your eyes on hush money paid to a porn star to carry out their plan.
